Activist: Urge Police to Investigate Rapist.

The National Coordinator of Initiative for Social Rights Concern Advancement (ISRCA), Comrade (Amb.) Derrick Oritsematosan Agberen has lamented that sometime last year in the Month of September 2023, his attention was drown in a suspected case of child defilement, in a petition he personally signed by him and made available to it Ahabamnews.
National coordinator of ISRCA lamented that a two year old Eleora Onovuze”s innocence was tempered by a yet to be identify person. The mother whom noticed that her vulva was swollen accompanied by complaint from little Eleora , who cried bitterly whenever she tries urinating.
The ISRCA explained that quickly they booked Doctor’s appointment, where the Doctor had confirmed that there was a penetration on little Eleora, going by discharges she was having. They approached her school but going by the surrounding, they concluded that the penetrator was not withing the school premises and then he asked that they watched out for someone within the neighbourhood, who had access to little Eleora.
The National Coordinator said her mother replied, there was no one apart from her fiance, that she separated with her Dad.
Again, he warned that they watched closely on Eleora’s would be step Dad, named, Mr. Okiemute Kasia while he suggested that they put her into another School.
The Coordinator of ISRCA said that, in between the period he instructed the mother to watch closely on her fiance, the mother most times woke up at night and noticed strange things. At first, the mother woke up to see the daughter’s private part turned turned in the direction of her fiance’s mouth, and immediately she checked little Eleora’s body and the vulva was swollen, like if it was immediately tempered.
The National Coordinator of ISRCA explained that, there was agreements between both of them not to sleep together in one room and on the same bed where little Eleora sleeps, the awful experiences stopped up until recently again .
The mother hab pitied the relationship over little Eleora, not even considering the psychological effects it has on her growth. She never reverted the situation back to him up until now. She waited for this new term, where she had registered Eleora into another private school name (Withheld) Otokotu, to better be convinced even when she caught him red handed. The mother noticed the same thing but this time the vulva was extremely swollen.
The National Coordinator explained that, the mother recalled that on Monday, the fiance was the one who picked her from school, while she went to the market. It was later that evening when little Eleora tried urinating, the pain became so unbearable that she had to scream, called on her mum while she noticed the swell on her vulva.
He added that, first, they took her Eleora to her school but the learning environment, had spoken more, that such incident wouldn’t have occupied in the new school considering her peers, CCTV is installment and the limits they have in the premises. Though, they registered their frustrations and the need for the school to be vigilant in the protection of children.
Comrade (Amb.) Derrick Oritsematosan Agberen said that, it was at this moment, she fell on her knees to narrated her awful experiences all these while and why Mr. Okiemute must be arrested. They immediately proceeded to the General Hospital at Oti-Jeremi, along side Police Officers from the Otu-Jeremi Divisional Police Station, after they officially complained. It was confirm by the medical Doctor, that little Eleora’s innocence had been tempered, even from it’s view. It was a sad moment, as nurses present couldn’t hold back their tears considering her age, she’s currently traumatized .
The girl -Child Sexual abuse has high Risk-Health implications and as such, shouldn’t be tolerated by any right thinking person. It is inhuman and it contravenes the Child Rights Act of 2003. As at the time of filling this report, Mr. Okiemute Kasia was arrested last night and he’s currently under detention at the Police Division, Otu-Jeremi while they await further investigations , as he will be charged to a Court of competent jurisdiction. We all ensure that little Eleora gets Justice and it will certainly serve as deterrent to others with such despicable behaviors, he stated.
