Activist Appeal To Governor Oborevwori to Revive Health Institutions in Delta State.

A human rights activist Comrade Ambassador Derrick Oritsematosan Agberen, has bemoaned the poor quality facilities at government owned Hospitals in Delta State.
The activist complained seriously about poor working materials and dearth of personnel to Cary out their medical assignments of responding to the health needs of Deltans.
Comrade Agberen alleged that, he had witnessed very sad incidents at government Hospitals, with special reference to Warri Central Hospitals which he claimed is finding it difficult now to attend to the health needs of patients.
According to Comrade Derrick Oritsematosan Agberen, he was at Central Hospital Warri, a time not too long ago when a husband and wife were involved in fatal accidents, and the Hospital could not have the necessary working materials to attend to them, as both of them died.
He further alleged that patients now contribute money to buy fuel for Doctors at government owned general / Central Hospitals to attend to patients which he claimed is not good for the image of the State.
He further alleged that the mortuary (Morgue) at Warri Central Hospital, is now filled with dead bodies more then the normal wards, where treatments are proffered to patients.
He said there was a time former governor of Delta State, governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, funded free health scheme for underage and pregnant women in Delta State, just Doctor Ifeanyi Okowa equally made headway in improvement of the Health Sectors in Delta State.
He appealed to governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori to provide amenities and employ more health personnels in the state government owned hospitals to assist them meet the health needs of the citizens in the state.
