Be Thankful to Your Creator – Pastor Tells Beneficiaries

Recent sermon by pastor Israel Ogabuh , the resident pastor of Christian Brethren Ministry CBM, AKA ‘ Solution Ground ‘, Asaba Branch, Delta State.
Pastor Israel Ogabuh in his sermon that as believers, to see God accomplishment in their lives we must cultivate the habit of Thanksgiving.
He cited 1 These. 5 : 16 – 19 ” In Verse 18 : In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. ” It’s pay more to thank God than to complain, adding that you can’t have a thankful heart and experienced a barren life”.
He continued, the sign that you are mature, you must see yourself in all season”, he quoted Eph. 5 : 20 ” Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; ” For everything you must give thanks to God” Your Thanksgiving is not complete up untill you thank HIM through Jesus Christ. The more you thank HIM the more HE increases you areas of life. It take a grateful heart to give God thanks.
According to him, Thanksgiving open the gate of heaven, if you and I must have God’s increase and breakthrough, we must always be thankful to HIM for all that HE has done for us, quoting again from Col. 3 :15 ” And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
” That men who thank God experience HIS blessings and rising always. Almighty God is well pleased, when our mouths thank HIM often”
Finally, he cited examples of men who gave thanks to God in scripture as David, Solomon, Manasseh and Daniel, they thank God with their hearts, he stated.
