It sounds very strange, alien, absurb and unheard of that Asaba, Delta State Capital is now a death trap, owing to bad roads networks. For whatever reason, this is most painful, unacceptable and uncalled for.
How does one explain a situation where the Asaba, Onitsha, Benin Express way is becoming an eye sore, as a result of failed portion on the road.
A visit to MTN Headquarters, Ezenei / Bonsaac junction, Asaba shows deplorable road networks that has be dwelled the axis and of course yes, this is not nice at all, vehicles damaged, pedestrians stranded and death recorded, this is not a nice news at all.
Worse still, this is not the only problematic road networks challenges the state Capital is facing. If for no other reason, the Asaba, Onitsha, Benin Express Road where the MTN Office is located is very important to the Country.
For instance, it is that road that links the South South, South East, South West and the Middle-Belt axis of the Country.
It is a statement of fact that, trade and investment is one of the major sources of occupation of the South Easterners. It is a common knowledge of the South Easterners, Onitsha, Nnewi, Aba, Nkpor and the other Cities, have made huge impact in commerce as traders and other businessmen and women come from every parts of the Country, and even other Countries to buy goods and services in the South East.
The Asaba, Benin Express Road play pivotal roIe in the movement of goods and services to promote commerce.
it is of the considered opinion of all, that considering the sensitive and important contributions the Express Road and others make to the Country, efforts should been placed to fix the road.
The Federal Ministry of Works and Federal Roads Emergency Management Agency FERMA, should partner each other to fix the road
