Mr. President Heed House of Reps Call to Revert to Old Fuel Pump Price.

His Excellency Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria, the good citizens of Nigeria greeted your election and ssearing in as the number one citizen of the Country with happiness and fanfare congratulations.
His Excellency you are of a political party APC, who aims and objectives and manifestos are anchored, hinged and predicated on welfarism which pressyposs that the citizens should be able to afford basic necessities of life, food, clothing and shelter.
When you assumed Office Sir, one of the cardinal policies you emplaced was the removal of funding of fuel subsidy.
From the look of things it is a very nice policy, as the federal government can be giving out more than 60% of it earnings from the oil sector, to the fuel importers to import fuel into the Country.
There is no saying, the fact that it is a welcome development as it will afford the federal government to save more money and attend to the various of the economy.
Sir, since the removal of the fuel subsidy, the entire sectors of the Country have been affected, the prices of food stuffs, transportation fare, medicare, clothing and shelter have skyrocketed, in the meantime, the federal government has emplaced a lot of measures to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal and it is the considered opinion that the measures should be maintained, retained and sustained.
Happily, at meeting, the federal government held with the organised labour, NLC, TUC, JNC. It was stated that measures have been reached between federal government and Labour, on how to crash food prices and transportation fares and others.
Special thanks go to the House of Representatives, under the leadership of Hon. Dr. Tajudeen Abbas speakership, calling on the NNPC and federal government to revert to old pump prices of Petroleum products and gas inorder to provide relief to the citizens of this country.
