Wike, Fubara Please Show Interest About Rivers Welfare

Democracy as it generally known is government of the people,by the people and for the people, that is to say that the electorates are allowed to make impact on how they are governed.

Of course yes, Rivers State is not supposed to be an exception, but current scenario to rearing its ugly heed in the State suggest otherwise.

One wonders whether these two political heavy weights in Rivers State, governor Siminalayi Fubara and his enstranged political benefactor, His Excellency Nyeson Ezenwo Nwike, immediate past governor of the state and now Minister of Federal Capital Territory are even aware of the image problems the duo have attracted Locally, domestically and Internationally to Rivers State.

The battle of supremacy between the governor and his enstranged political mentor has taken off the shiver from Rivers State.

One is supprised what may have caused this no love lost relationship with these two persons. In their efforts to assert who holds the political power in Rivers State, the recently concluded Local Government elections which led to burning of Amenities, facilities, projects infrastructures and severe wounds, injuries and deaths is most regrettable.

The essence of Local Government Coucils, is to bring government closer to the people, but what is happening in Rivers State now is a clear departure from that.

If these two political giants are concerned about the welfare of the people. Etiquette demands that they must do everything humanly possible to ensure peace s in Rivers State.

Governance is known generally as administration of persons making of Laws, Interprete of Laws and Implementation of Laws to enhance the wellbeing of the citizens.

If you have responsible government, then you have responsible citizens. For governor Similayi Fubara and Wike they should allow peace to reign, Wike should allow the governor to do his work, while the governor should give same respect to Wike, having being the one who made him politically.

Those whose palm kernels are broken for them by benevolent spirits must not forget to be humble.
